Supernova is a venue that offers seasonal events for all the family and offers a real special day out.
Supernova is located in the WestPoint Business Park, Link Road, Ballincollig, across from MD O’Shea’s and Flor Griffin.
Transport to Supernova is easy, just minutes of the N25 Cork – Killarney South Ring Road, or a few hundred meters off the Ballincollig Main Street. More info in our location section
The ground floor is McCool’s Children's Play and Activity Centre. This is a specially designed indoor children's centre, over 20,000 sqft of fun and adventure for children Under 12 years.
McCool’s is based on the legends and adventures of old Ireland, with our Mascot Fionn McCool the character that will guide children in their play and adventures in our castle play structure.
On the upper floor the largest permanent indoor synthetic ice rink is fantastic. Synthetic ice gives all the excitement of real ice, but with the benefit of it being easier to learn to skate, no wet or cold water when you fall, and most of all a softer landing if you fall.
Outside there are 7 new generation Astroturf pitches with rubber fill. This means no burns and a great surface to play soccer on.
Each pitch has hard boards walls on all sides and roof nets so that the game never stops. The pitches are 40m long and 20m wide, and will accommodate up to 7 a-side for adults and any number of children.
